Off on my travels again and this time my destination was the beautiful Double Tree Hotel in Chester.
The 18th Century Manor House, set in 12 acres of exquisite landscaped gardens, was the perfect backdrop for Amy and Andy’s beautiful day. I had so much fun photographing Amy because she really was as cheerful as she looks; non-stop smiles all day.
Andy was such a suave groom! He looked incredible in his RAF uniform. As the bride got ready, there was plenty of fun with family and friends. Laughter rang out around the room. So many sweet moments too, like when Amy presented her Mum with a special box of gifts. As the Groom got ready, there were yet more presents from the bride. (Did I mention how lovely she was!) And the message in the card brought a tear to Andy’s eye.
On to the ceremony! Amy took everyone’s breath away in a lace, fit and flare dress. And what a veil! As she came gliding down the aisle on the arm of her Grandfather, Andy was overwhelmed. Who could blame him? She looked stunning!
Charlotte Atkinson painted a wonderful picture of the day and I’m sure her artistry will be treasured for years to come. The cake was created by a member of the family and the jaunty, bride and groom topper made everyone smile. With such a joyful couple, I was expecting a great party and I wasn’t disappointed. The live band got everyone on their feet, singing and dancing and a good time was had by all…especially Mum and Dad.
Truly a beautiful day! Be sure to check out the photos taken in the meadow. Those ones are my absolute favourites. And click on my Let’s Connect page now to chat about your special day!
